Then, if you scroll down to comment #36, this is where my trouble begins at Blogmocracy, because I posted a reference to a book to which some of the Catholic members of the blog took serious offense, even though I made it clear I do not know whether the claims made in the book (collaboration between elements of the Vatican and Hezbollah) are true or not. Later on, in comment #222 I point out the fact that there is a difference between peaceful Muslims and radical Muslims. Torah Law expressly forbids baseless hatred. My insistence to hold true to my views on this have caused me to be suspect by some of the members.

After you read comment #36, the debate becomes quite heated on the topic of at least certain elements within the Vatican possibly collaborating with Hezbollah. Scroll down to my last comment #238. At this point, the entire comment section of this guest post is a lost cause. Despite this fact, I chose to post a more complete version of my views on religion and the possibility of corruption within any religious tradition, and the faithful, good people’s obligation to expose and rid their respective religions of said corruption.

I hope you can see by these comments, and by our very respectful interchanges at Liberty Forest, that I have nothing against you personally. Having said that, if you are allowing older politicos within the Ron Paul or Rand Paul campaigns to teach you how to sell their political views in such a way that you are not being completely up-front with each group when it comes to their core values and where either Dr. Paul stands on those core values, you are being misled.

For the sake of your soul and your self-respect, I encourage you to insist on being completely transparent when presenting Dr. Paul’s (either one) views. Not only will you be at peace with yourself and your Creator, you will also be able to fend off those who might try to control you as you mature. If you ever do or say anything you would not want to be made public, then you are making yourself vulnerable to evil, and to your life going in directions you never intended.

Our interchanges at Liberty Forest were a breath of fresh air. Keep yourself honest and you will always be a refreshment to yourself and all who know you. Those who dislike you for your honesty, in fact, dislike themselves for their own dishonesty.

I know there are Zionist Muslims, and according to them, they can back their views by the Quran. They need to feel they have the freedom to speak their point of view without being threatened. The public discourse must remain civil and free of personal threats. Sadly, such is not currently the case.

I can’t delete or edit my posts at Blogmocracy. You could contact Rodan and see if he can help you. I wrote him and said I wouldn’t mind if your handle was used instead of your name, but I don’t agree to deleting or changing the comment. You yourself are admitting here that my comments are indeed true. You think it’s okay and I don’t. That’s where we disagree. We don’t disagree with the fact that you were discussing the tailoring of the Ron Paul message on the issue of Israel from an Arab audience to a non-Arab audience.

I’m sorry, but Americans have a higher view of the truth. Many of us are already aware of said tailoring and plan on sounding the bullhorn to make sure the rest of America is made aware of it. Sorry Abraham. The cat is already out of the bag.

If Rodan changes it, that’s his business. It’s his blog. I wouldn’t though. I would simply respect your right to use and be known on the internet by a handle.

You have been a gentlemen my friend. Keep it up. In order to have full credibility in American politics, one must learn to be very direct and up-front, stand up for what you believe in. If you don’t believe in Israels’ right to exist, or if you believe Israel is violating human rights in her efforts to defend herself, then you really need to just say so.

I understand tailoring a message, but one can tailor it to the point where one is lying. It will be found out eventually. The truth is like a bubble. It always finds it’s way to the surface, and then your credibility is shot.

I just checked what you objected to. I can’t even edit my own comments once I post them at Blogmocracy…which I find disconcerting, because I make a lot of mistakes that need fixing. Something about a computer screen does that to me. It’s not set up like Liberty Forest. You will have to take it up with Rodan if you want your name deleted and changed to merely Abe. I apologize if you feel I invaded your privacy in publishing your name at Blogmocracy. But your name is out there already, thus, I didn’t see much of a difference.

I can certainly take down your name and use your handle. I can’t do anything at the Blogmocracy site. You would have to contact Rodan for that. I am curious though. Do you not realize how easy it is to find out that Abe is you? You put your real name right up there in your profile.

It is a political forum, and those were options that we had put forward to tailor the message for certain groups, simply political. To some it would appear deceptive, but many political campaigns simply do this, and to isolate it as just being a Ron Paul issue is false, I don’t understand why you need to simply bring up the Palestinian issue, the issue of Drugs also came up to not talk about Ron Paul’s drug position when going to Synagogues, Churches, and Mosques. However, I would appreciate it if you could take my name off the site and replace it with my user name which is simply “Abe”

We had a civilized disagreement Abraham. I give you credit for that. You are much more polite than the antisemites who dwell at Liberty Forest.

We came to no “mutual agreements” beyond be courteous to one another. I can’t be dishonest however. If I credited you with words you did not write, or if I misunderstood your meaning, then I will certainly retract.

What I read was an effort to tailor Ron Paul’s message according to the audience. If an Arab American audience, then the “Palestinian” issue would be discussed, if in an Evangelical, non-Arab audience, then the subject would not come up. This goes beyond merely being polite my friend. It is disingenous and deceptive to the mind of an American. We tend to be rather forthright. If you wanted to send me your version of the thread, and I find you did not participate, and objected to the deception, I will certainly retract.
