Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad: “Death to Israel”

Ahmadinejad can claim he only means to encourage a “regime change” in the region of Eretz Israel, that there is no such phrase in Farsi that would approximate the concept of wiping a nation off the map, thus he can hide behind linguistic technicalities. I have been wondering about this myself, though in either case, the man is not sounding too friendly towards the nation of Israel.

There are those who argue this point, but others are quick to point out that though that exact phrase was not uttered, that it was closer to “disappear from the pages of history”, Mr. Ahmadinejad was not using a passive tense, but an active tense, indicating more of an aggressive stance than he will admit to in the American press.

Well, there is no misunderstanding Mr. Ahmadinejad’s words in this video: “Marg bar Israel” or  “death to Israel”. Chas v’Shalom

So for those wondering if Mr. Ahmadinejad or the Iranian mullocracy is such a threat to Israel,  I think the answer is obvious.

Kol HaKavod to the Courageous Iranian People

Would that Americans had this kind of courage. But then, if we ever find our backs to the wall, and we all truly understand the nature of the enemy, and the nature of the battle which lies before us, I believe we will also rise to the occasion. Torture of innocent demonstrators has a way of clarifying things. Sad that it has to come to that, but such is often the case. Today’s treat from Iran, Hat Tip to The Huffington Post, and Atlas Shrugs (the two next to each other, strange, I know).

Arutz Sheva’s Tamar Yonah, in a show entitled, Audio: An Iranian Speaks, recently Mr. Armen Saginian, an Iranian living in exile and author of several books and articles on Iran, Middle East issues, how the West and Islam plays into all the suffering in the region.

Below are some quotes from the show which shed some light on the current situation in Iran. It breaks my heart for the protesters, as it appears they’ve been set up, and are now suffering unimaginably.

“We have a nasty player in this whole game by the name of Zbigniew Brzezinski. That person planned the whole thing when they tried to force Shah to kill the young leftists or young free thinkers. Leftist is a misnomer. They were free thinkers. They didn’t have anything else to do except go towards left, and they were labeled as leftists. Shah refused to kill them. So they met, two persons met in Algiers, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Dr. Zbigniew Brzezinski and Dr. Ibrahim Yazdi. They met in Algiers before the revolution in Iran started, this last revolution thirrity years ago…before Shah was disposed (sic).”

“…because of Zbigniew Brzezinski’s plan to put a ‘green belt’ around Soviet Union and bring down Soviet Union, apparently he had personal vendetta against Russians or against Soviet Union because of him being a Polish person, he started all this. Now as it goes on right now today, it is continuation of what he started. They brought these elements, these muslim clerics in, with the understanding that whatever Shah refused to do, they will do. And when Ramsey Clark met with Homeini in Paris, apparently that’s what they decided finally. That Homeini will come. He will be supported. They will be kept on, and they will be paid handsomely, as most of them are multi-multi-millionaires right now, with all their banking (unintelligible) in foreign countries.

Every few years they give room for the discontents to come out and show their discontent. And the government or the regime comes and arrests all of them, takes them to prison, kills some of them during the unrest and kills the rest of them in the prison, or forces them into submission in prison. Right now we are again in that situation. However, please remember one thing. Inside Iran the main force that can effect a regime change in Iran has not engaged yet. And their reason for not engagement is basically one thing — not one thing, two things, combination of one thing: The lack of leadership and the lack of goals of where they want to go.”
