Ahmadinejad can claim he only means to encourage a “regime change” in the region of Eretz Israel, that there is no such phrase in Farsi that would approximate the concept of wiping a nation off the map, thus he can hide behind linguistic technicalities. I have been wondering about this myself, though in either case, the man is not sounding too friendly towards the nation of Israel.
There are those who argue this point, but others are quick to point out that though that exact phrase was not uttered, that it was closer to “disappear from the pages of history”, Mr. Ahmadinejad was not using a passive tense, but an active tense, indicating more of an aggressive stance than he will admit to in the American press.
Well, there is no misunderstanding Mr. Ahmadinejad’s words in this video: “Marg bar Israel” or “death to Israel”. Chas v’Shalom
So for those wondering if Mr. Ahmadinejad or the Iranian mullocracy is such a threat to Israel, I think the answer is obvious.
Another good news alert (gotta get it in while it lasts) is the fact that the anti-Syrian parties have won more seats in Lebanon’s parlaiment than Hezbollah. More here and, here.

(IsraelNN.com) Anti-Islam parties scored big victories in European Union parliamentary voting that concluded Sunday. A record low voter turnout of only 43 percent helped the right wing parties enter the EU Parliament (EUP), while the conservative European People’s party retained its plurality, by a comfortable margin.
In the Netherlands, Geert Wilders’ Freedom party won 17 percent of the country’s votes, giving it four out of the country’s 25 seats in the 736-seat EUP. Its support placed it less than three percent behind the ruling Christian Democratic Alliance’s showing.
Wilder has set off violent protests in the Muslim world because of his 15-minute film called Fitna, which links violence with the Koran. He also is working with Israeli Knesset Member Aryeh Eldad (National Union) to expose violence in Islam.
“I will never forget the joy and the hatred in [the terrorists'] voices as they swaggered about hunting for us, firing their guns and throwing grenades,” Haran wrote. “As I lay there, I remembered my mother telling me how she had hidden from the Nazis during the Holocaust. ‘This is just like what happened to my mother,’ I thought.
“Kuntar has openly expressed pride about the killings over the years.”
Israel has been on the front line, fighting against the jihadis for years, certainly since the nation was reborn, but also during the pre-state era. America is weakening her resolve to fight the jihadis and weakening her alliance with her only true friend in the Middle East, Israel. Following is a link to an informative movie you can watch online for a nominal fee. The movie documents what the jihadis have in store for the United States of America. If America shows itself to be weak, it only encourages the jihadis. If you throw meat at a shark chasing you, it only encourages the shark. Same thing.
