Nagla al-Imam’s Intentions Clarified
BS”D
Thanks to Andy at The Domain For Truth for his astounded reaction to the video clip I featured yesterday, along with my post doubting my own eyes and ears.
Also, thanks to Andy, who linked the more complete Memri clip of Nagla Al-Imam, a female Egyptian lawyer from Cairo, all nagging doubts have been removed. This bizarre woman’s true desires are couched in subterfuge, designed so she can avoid responsibility for her irresponsible assertions. She claims she isn’t recommending rape of Israeli girls, merely sexual harassment. The contradiction becomes obvious when Nagla suggests “using any possible method”, and makes declarative statements such as “leave the land so we won’t rape you”. So, if Israeli women don’t leave “Arab lands” in Nagla’s opinion, the onus is on them should they remain in “Arab lands” and find themselves being raped. There will be no recourse.
This brings to mind some biting thoughts on the legal profession in general and Arab culture in particular. Western trained lawyers are so good at the sort of mind-bending word games Nagla is attempting, when they successfully manage to dig their claws into their victims, most walk away blaming themselves for the bloody claw marks. Clearly, before Nagla applies for a position in a Western law firm she needs to work on her subtlety.
My thoughts on Arab “culture” can be summed up as follows: This clip, Nagla’s expressions, her choice to comment that “Arab women are fair game for Arab men” is evidence of the deep pathology of Arab culture, which currently punishes women when they are raped, rather than their rapists. Nagla’s angry presentation suggests to me she is actually furious with her own culture, and tranferring that free floating fury to the so-called “Zionist Entity”. Ahh, a microcosm of the Arab/Israeli conflict for all the world to see. If the world ever can face it, given those Arab oil reserves and all.
