I have to agree. Until we begin to live as HKB”H has ordained that we should live, neither we, nor the world will be at peace.

Having said that, I can’t help but notice the difference between us and the rest of the world, even in this respect. We search for peace amongst ourselves and for the world by looking within our community, at ourselves, by doing teshuvah. Other religions look outside of themselves, patting themselves on the back for how “right” they are, and demand that the rest of the world repents (converts to their religion) or else there will be no peace.

That tells me something. It let’s me know that at least I am on the correct path. I haven’t arrived at the destination yet, but I’m at least heading in the right direction. I give all the credit where it belongs — to the Awesome One, HKB”H. — EK
