Israel in the News

I lost interest in Israeli political news (I’ll never lose interest in the well being of the Israeli people) after years of avidly following (and sometimes living in the midst of) every event I could. When Ariel Sharon tossed out good Jews from their homes, not even bothering to build enough housing for them prior to their illegal eviction, I just couldn’t take it anymore. I let go. But, I’m back.

Here’s the latest as of today.

This land, included in the mandated Jewish Palestine, should be always a part of Israel, and thus part of the Jewish homeland.

I hope these people are successful in retaking Ariel and Homesh – and to hell with the current idiotic government.

    Welcome to my blog Godefroi,

I agree with you 100%. Nothing has ever been gained with the “land for piece” strategy. The current government appears to be determined to destroy the country, suicidal. I don’t know what to think of Barry Chamish’s claims, but he sounds plausible at times to me.

I had a friend once elaborate on his views of the situation. “They need to hunker down and wait for the messiah.” Of course, this is simple advice, however — complicated to execute.
