B’nei Noah
bs”d
This is a little known way of life. I have become interested because some of my closest friends have recently decided to adopt this way of life, or at least to learn from it. They know much more about it than I do. I am intrigued with what I’ve read, watched and listened to from my friends on this religious perspective. To start off the discussion, here is one “youtube ” link that might be of interest, from Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem:
Another fascinating and worthy site to look over on the topic of B’nei Noah:
I would love to get some dialogue going concerning this subject. I have a few concerns regarding the incresingly popular notion of B’nei Noah. For starters, I am wondring how Orthodox Judaism concluded that the seven laws were given to Noah, considering that only one of them ( the proabition against eating blood) is actually mentioned in the covenant between God and Noah. If God gave Noah the seven laws, where are they written in the scriptures?
My exact question as I read through some of the teaching…I want to know, “Where is it written?”
I read somewhere it had something to do with the 7 colors in the rainbow?! That’s a bit too esoteric for me.
